Out of nowhere, I started hearing the Emperor’s inner thoughts.

While others are busy flattering one another, he’s thinking: You moron! That man cuckolded you, and here you are calling him your brother!

While reviewing memorials: I’ve had it. Is this Governor for real? Every single day he asks if I want mangoes. I don’t eat mangoes! I’m allergic to them!

On the imperial bed: I specifically wore the inner robes with the little dragons embroidered on them today. The Empress is going to love them once I strip down! Tee-hee!
