Synopsis

In his twenty-second year, a fiancé named Sheng Fan fell from the sky into Ji Xinglu’s world.

He despised the man.

First, Sheng Fan was an old man—already twenty-eight and practically pushing thirty. Wanting to be with him was nothing short of a cradle-robbing fantasy.

Second, Sheng Fan was a freak! How else could Ji Xinglu explain why the man, whenever angry, would chase him down to spank his ass, calling it “discipline”? Not even his own father had ever spanked him like that!

And third—Ji Xinglu already had someone he liked! It was his childhood sweetheart, his bamboo horse Big Brother, who was gentle and considerate in his eyes. How could this fiancé who popped out of nowhere possibly compare?

So Ji Xinglu rejected the engagement on the spot, declaring he didn’t like “Leftovers”—oh, wait, Sheng Fan—at all! He wouldn’t take some old man nobody else wanted!

Publicly humiliated, Sheng Fan didn’t get angry. He merely teased, “It’s only natural you have no taste. After all, you’re just a little blind boy.”

And just like that, Ji Xinglu had one more reason to hate Sheng Fan—he hated it when people brought up his eyes!

To sabotage the engagement and finally be with his childhood sweetheart, Ji Xinglu pulled out all the stops.

His fiancé was busy with work? He’d cause a scene! He’d bombard Sheng Fan with messages 24/7, showing him what true “hot violence” looked like!

Sheng Fan: So clingy, baby. Since you miss me this much, how about I come home early to be with you tonight?

Ji Xinglu: No thanks, I’m good.

His fiancé cared about his reputation? He’d ruin it! He’d flood his social media with photos of luxury brands, flaunting his extravagant post-engagement lifestyle. His intention was to mock his fiancé’s excessive spending, but everyone on his feed reacted uniformly:

【Damn, you married a great husband, huh? So jealous!】

Ji Xinglu: Screw you all!

Once, Ji Xinglu even deliberately sabotaged one of Sheng Fan’s projects, causing him to lose a full hundred million.

He thought this would finally get the engagement called off. Instead, Sheng Fan just crooked a finger at him, patted his own thigh, and ordered:

“Sit.”

Ji Xinglu had no choice but to obey. The moment he sat down, the old man squeezed his ass, making him flinch.

Sheng Fan: “Haven’t spanked you in a few days, and you’re already asking for it again, aren’t you? How many tonight? Want to count them yourself?”

Ji Xinglu, on the verge of tears: “I just want a divorce…”

Sheng Fan hadn’t been angry before, but those words made him spank Ji Xinglu’s ass until it bloomed red.

Sheng Fan was a transmigrator. Armed with a System and the Script, he saw through every trope and plot twist. The only variable was that cannon fodder who seemed both malicious and s*upid.

In his eyes, Ji Xinglu was utterly harmless—a brainless, gutless character who was incapable of achieving anything but more than capable of ruining everything. He failed at every single thing he tried, a marvel of incompetence.

But sometimes… he was quite cute.

Like when he’d get angry and draw a series of comics, depicting a cartoon version of Sheng Fan being tortured to protest his cruelty.

Or the indispensable “good morning” and “good night” greetings he sent every day—sometimes a simple sentence, sometimes just a kiss emoji. Unsolicited kindness is either malicious or deceitful, the saying went, but Sheng Fan found it deeply satisfying.

And then there was how Ji Xinglu always claimed to dislike him, yet after his vision completely deteriorated, he’d lie awake all night, terrified of the dark, waiting desperately for Sheng Fan’s arrival.

In the darkness, Sheng Fan watched his foolish, clumsy lover clutching a stuffed doll, his eyes vacant and lifeless. But at the sound of footsteps, a faint glimmer of light sparked within them.

“Sheng… Sheng Fan?”

Ji Xinglu’s voice was already thick with tears, terrified of being truly abandoned.

“I’m here.”

Thank God he’s always here.
