Reborn to My Husband’s Youth
拯救夫君少年时(重生)
Synopsis
The rebel army stormed the capital on the eve of Qiao Shuyue’s execution. The rebel leader killed the tyrant and took his place, proclaiming a general amnesty across the realm. She lived.
The new emperor summoned Qiao Shuyue to the great hall. He stared at her for a long while before softly saying, “Stay.”
Love at first sight, unwavering for a lifetime. She stayed by his side for three years, yet even he could not cure her lingering illness. When her condition became critical, she smiled and said,
“I heard that when Your Majesty was young, you were almost sacrificed by others. You escaped only after countless hardships. Later, you were sold off as a s*ave and suffered endless bullying.”
The emperor’s gaze was gentle, the smile on his lips unchanged. “What, does that ruin the image of me as a wise and mighty ruler in your heart?”
“No. It only makes me admire you even more.”
The emperor set out on a northwest expedition, planning to return in great victory and then ask for her hand in marriage. Yet fate was cruel. She was already at death’s door and never even saw him one last time.

In the blink of an eye, she was reborn and returned to her childhood. Qiao Shuyue begged her brother to take her to save someone. When they arrived, they saw a burly man pinning down a frail young boy, trying to drown him in a swill bucket.
The boy stared fiercely at the man. His gaze, sharp like a wolf cub’s, fell inch by inch, unruly, dark, and bright.
That was her wise and mighty emperor!
“Let him go!”
The momentum was imposing, but the voice was unmistakably childish.
Qiao Shuyue spread her short little legs and charged forward like a cannonball.

Xie Zhaoling was born in the mud, low as dust, yet he carried an unyielding pride and walked alone through life.
Until the day a little girl took him home.
She took him to treat his wounds, sent him to school, helped him find a martial arts master, and taught him the principles of how to be a person.
She even stood in front of him and fought her own brothers for his sake…
Day after day, until his eyes saw no one but her.
“Your eyes should be looking at your books and the sword in your hand,” she said with utmost seriousness. “Do not keep staring at others. That will only disturb your determination to strive upward.”
He withdrew the greedy, yearning gaze he cast toward her. The suppressed feelings inside him were on the verge of bursting forth, a powerful possessiveness already creeping through his heart.
Lowering his eyes with difficulty, he responded in disappointment, “Alright.”
“But… you can look at me.” She turned her head shyly, speaking with dignified justification. “After all, I am your master.”
↪”Willing to live for her, willing to die for her, to be her servant beneath her skirts.”
↪”In this life, willing to be shattered to pieces for her, to become her blade, slaughter every greedy evil spirit for her, and guard her peace for a lifetime.”
