Synopsis
Han Yeoreum, an ordinary D-rank guide and a student at a training academy in South Korea, gave up on becoming a guide early on and set his sights on becoming a researcher at the Center instead.
Rather than live a half-baked life with a mediocre rank, Yeoreum chose a different path where he could actually excel, and he was content with his version of a “normal life.”
That is, until he found Cha Siwoo collapsed in front of his studio apartment.
Though initially startled by the unexpected encounter with the S-rank esper Cha Siwoo, Yeoreum was somehow compelled to offer him clumsy guiding while he writhed in pain.
Regretting his impulsive act, he reassured himself that he’d never cross paths with an S-rank esper again.
Until Siwoo showed up right in front of him.
“Do you know any guides who live around here?”
“…Excuse me?”
“I have some business with one of them.”
Yeoreum is left bewildered by Siwoo’s attitude, as if he’s looking for the very person who guided him and ran away that night and their unexpected reunion happens in the most unlikely place.
“I’ll be leading your practical training class.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me…”
As professor and student.
“Han Yeoreum, right? We’ve met before, haven’t we? Didn’t expect to see you here. Or that you were a guide.”
