Be at Peace With Yourself

Synopsis
Cheng Anzhi, a woman who flirts freely but never gets serious, falls in love at first sight with a doctor.
Using an umbrella as an excuse, she successfully gets the doctor’s contact information. However, the woman remains unmoved. Facing such beauty, Cheng Anzhi thinks to herself, “I’m just not trying hard enough.”
When Qin Ruosong needs a place to live, Cheng Anzhi rents her a place, conveniently becoming her neighbor. They start commuting together, eating breakfast together, and cooking together.
Then, after she finally knows what it’s like to kiss, she overhears Qin Ruosong through a door saying, “I don’t like women.”
“Oh, so you can still kiss someone even if you don’t like them,” she thinks.
After being led away from a bar by the doctor, she wakes up the next morning to find the doctor standing by the bed, fully dressed, and saying in a cold voice, “It was mutual consent. It doesn’t mean anything.”
Okay, she decides to quit this love game.
After Cheng Anzhi blocks her on WeChat and disappears completely, a wild longing grows in Qin Ruosong’s heart. She finally regrets her actions, realizing that sometimes cutting your losses isn’t enough to avoid risk.
She chases Cheng Anzhi all the way back to a small town, but the other woman ignores her.
“Granny Lan says women’s mouths are liars.” “Granny Lan says those who betray genuine feelings should swallow ten thousand needles.” “Granny Lan says we’re not a good match.”
Confused, Qin Ruosong wonders who this “Granny Lan” is. One day, she pushes open the door to find Cheng Anzhi sitting with her own grandmother, holding a book titled The s*umbag Girl’s Guide to Being Taught a Lesson.
With no other choice, she pulls out her trump card.
“You once said you would marry me when you were a child. Does that still count?”
