Life wasn’t particularly difficult, but it wasn’t fun either.

Among all the things I had been given or would ever be given, there was nothing I truly desired.

And yet, everything had already been perfectly decided —

Everything, except for that man.

“Whatever you do, just blame it on me.”

The man who barged into my tediously well-ordered life whispered like the devil.

“Say you couldn’t help it. Say it’s my fault you became like this.”

Among all the things I had, he was the only filthy, despicable thing.
