Anathema is a girl who fled to the surface from the massive city floating in Earth’s orbit, “Orbital.” She is a witch who has entered into a contract with one of the “Calamities”—magical weapons that once destroyed the Old World—the “Demon of Gluttony,” Beelzebub.

Haru, a student living in the closed environmental city on the surface known as the “Academy,” meets Anathema and subsequently throws away his elite status in the Student Council. He transfers to the mysterious “Cafeteria Club,” a club aiming to complete the “Four-Star Full Course,” the pinnacle of gastronomy created by the Old World.

The reason? Because the contract Anathema exchanged with “Gluttony” was on the condition that she “feed him delicious food.” Thus, in order to save the surface from the “Calamity’s” rampage, Haru and his companions spend their days hunting monsters to serve as ingredients for gourmet meals!
