Reborn in the Apocalypse: Picking Up a Corpse King as a Bodyguard

A deadly virus outbreak occurs, and the apocalypse descends. Zombies, all kinds of mutated beasts, and strange mutated plants launch a rampat assault on the world.

Mu Cheng, who has been reborn back into the apocalypse, gains a major advantage. She begins collecting supplies in advance and, immediately after the outbreak, rushes to loot resources in the city.

While gathering weapons, she encounters Tang Nuo, who has been bitten by a zombie and is in the process of transforming between a living human and a zombie-like being. Because Tang Nuo is a close friend of her older brother—and also because a voice in her heart keeps telling her to save him—she steps in to help him temporarily suppress the corpse virus. She then brings Tang Nuo along as they set off on a path of revenge.
