Synopsis
Abandoned since childhood and raised in an orphanage, Ning Qiyu has always been aware of his uniqueness. He has carefully guarded his secret. Ning Qiyu overhears the director planning to sell him to a research institute. He flees the orphanage in a daze and a speeding car hits him. Despite the searing pain, Ning Qiyu feels an odd sense of relief—at last, he thinks, he’s free.
Upon waking, Ning Qiyu finds himself in a strange new world, with a mysterious stone that grants him peculiar abilities. Yet, in this new life, he is once again abandoned by his parents.
Across both lifetimes, Ning Qiyu has had one wish: to build a loving home with the person he loves. Although he couldn’t realize this in his previous life, he finally achieves it in this one. Ning Qiyu thinks to himself that fate has treated him kindly after all.
