One Day, His Memory Disappeared
어느 날 그의 기억이 사라졌다
Synopsis
After eight long years, a college classmate reached out to me.
They told me that he had jumped from the seventh floor of his company’s building, attempting to take his own life.
To make matters worse, the impact of the fall had left him with a severe head injury, erasing all his memories since his sophomore year of high school.
Now, he was apparently searching for me—his former private tutor.
I couldn’t help but wonder what could have possibly driven that fearless, immature high school kid to the point of attempting su*cide.
Yet, despite the tragic news, the reason I couldn’t easily bring myself to go see him was because he was the very guy who had chased after me like a madman eight years ago.
“I must have liked you a lot, Teacher. To be honest, the movie was just an excuse. From the moment I opened my eyes in the hospital, the only thing on my mind was that I had to see your face. Even now, being with you like this, I barely even feel the pain…”
“…Woo Jiheon, do you like me?”
“What kind of cr—no, what kind of crazy talk is that? Did I say something to mislead you? Teacher, I’m really not the type of guy who likes other guys, okay? Earlier, when I got hard, that was just… because it was really sensitive. When I said I liked you just now, I meant as a person. Just as a person. And me saying you’re handsome was just an objective judgment.”
“…So you don’t?”
“Ah, seriously, you’re going to get me in trouble. I guess I did say it in a way that caused a misunderstanding, but it’s really not like that. I’m really not gay.”
“…..”
“Why aren’t you saying anything? I told you it’s not like that.”
“…Yeah.”
“It’s not. I really don’t, so please don’t misunderstand.”
“…I get it.”
