Seo Hanjoon has been in one-sided love for years with his best friend, Jo Yoojae, whom he’s been inseparable from since middle school.

Yoojae asked through clenched teeth, taking a step closer. The sound of the chocolate being crushed inside its wrapper under his foot could be heard.

With those words, Yoojae left the room. The sound of the door slamming shut brought Hanjoon back to his senses.

He stared at the chocolate that Yoojae had stepped on, now flattened and crushed on the floor.

For a long time, he didn’t even notice the time passing.
