The Grand Secretary’s Widowed Husband Is Overflowing with Green-Tea Charm
首輔寡夫郎他茶香四溢
Synopsis
Lin Piao was a highly educated top student who had never lifted a finger to do household chores. After transmigrating to ancient times, he became a widowed sister-in-law—more precisely, a male widowed sister-in-law.
He couldn’t do farm work, but he had an impressive appetite, and the pressure of morality weighed heavily on him.
So he could only rely on his special talent for performing as a green-tea-type manipulator, fooling the neighbors until they were completely bewildered. His little brother-in-law, who was only as tall as Lin Piao’s chest, looked at him with reddened eyes.
“Sister-in-law is so good to me. I won’t let you down.”
Lin Piao lived his leisurely couch-potato life, lounging around day after day.
Then, while doing absolutely nothing, he suddenly discovered that over the course of several years, Shen Hong had grown a whole head taller than him.
His shoulders were broad, his arms strong, and his manner gentle and courteous.
Yet the look in his eyes had become increasingly difficult to decipher.
Shen Hong went on to pursue the imperial examinations, advancing from xiucai to achieving the legendary Triple First Place, eventually rising to become a First-Rank Grand Secretary and a powerful statesman who held the imperial court in his grasp.
And throughout it all, he never married.
The only person at his side was his male widowed sister-in-law.
With a smile curling at the corners of his lips, Shen Hong said:
“You’re so good to me. I won’t let you go.
