Synopsis
Cheong-a was harshly mistreated and ab*ed for being a B-rank Guide.
On the day she was forced by her adoptive parents to form a contract with an Esper she had never even met, she meets her new contractor, the S-rank Esper, Yeon Huijae.
“How old did you say you were? Twenty-one?”
“I’m twenty-two.”
“You’re much younger than I thought. A real baby.”
A gentle voice, a kind touch. The first warmth she had ever felt from another person.
Despite knowing their relationship was a contract based on the condition of guiding, she couldn’t help but fall for him.
All without realizing what kind of face Huijae was hiding.
“I… want to quit now.”
“You seem not to know much because you’re young, Cheong-a-ssi… Breaking a contract recklessly can lead to big trouble.”
Tormented by a tenderness that could never be hers, Cheong-a resolves to run away from Huijae, who tries to keep her by his side.
“No… I don’t want to do this anymore… don’t. Huijae-ssi.”
“After I went through all the trouble of taming you, why did you have to run away and cause all this trouble? Hm?”
But the smile she faced at the end of her escape resembled a tragedy.
