“I’m not interested in becoming a soldier.”

“Should I kill your whole family, then? Maybe that’ll make you listen.”

Last night, he went out to earn some spare cash—and ran straight into the same lunatic killer who now, in a clean military uniform, introduces himself as Captain Kim Hayoon and hands over enlistment papers.

He thought he was being silenced. Instead, the madman was recruiting him.

“If you just follow orders, your entire family can live in comfort.”

His instincts screamed danger. This man was a threat—but the desperate grind of daily poverty made Kim Hayoon’s offer difficult to resist.

As a mixed-blood from Zone B, military life was hell from day one. Nothing came easy, and every moment felt like survival.
