Synopsis
The shell is refined, but inside, he’s just a crazy bastard.
Sa Dojin, the section chief of the Criminal Investigation Division at the Seoul Central Police Agency.
Ever since Dojin took over, Hyejun, the leader of Team 1, has been at odds with him at every turn, engraving a long history of clashes.
Dojin is highly competent but completely devoid of humanity in his methods. Feeling the disconnect, Hyejun never backed down, stubbornly challenging him every step of the way, even if it meant becoming the icon of defiance.
“There are exactly two standards for the tasks you need to handle, Team Leader Nam Hyejun. Do you know what they are?”
“Yes. Right and wrong.”
“What I ordered and what I didn’t order.”
The only things Hyejun received in return were Dojin’s cold arrogance and sarcastic comments from their colleagues:
“If you two are so obsessed with each other, why don’t you just date already?”
But at some point, things began to change.
Despite their constant friction, they worked surprisingly well together on investigations. So much so that it was almost ironic.
As a subtle tension began to rise between them, Hyejun realized that he was becoming unusually conscious of Dojin…
“Don’t worry. Even if the entire human race went extinct and it was just you and me left, I wouldn’t ask you to sleep with me, sir.”
“All the human race? Just the two of us?”
“Yeah.”
“If it’s just the two of us, why wouldn’t you ask?”
“…What?”
“If there was just us, feel free to ask. I’ll gladly say yes.”
