Kyōkai no Kanata

In the hidden world of Youmu, where the line between human and monster blurs, Akihito Kanbara, an immortal half-Youmu, yearns for an ordinary life. But fate has other plans. He encounters Mirai Kuriyama, a blood-wielding Spirit World Warrior haunted by a tragic past and burdened with the duty to exterminate Youmu like him. She aims to commit su*cide by jumping the school’s roof, but Akihito quickly notices and saves her. Despite Mirai’s initial mission to kill Akihito after learning his true identity, their destinies become irrevocably intertwined.

Together, they face a relentless onslaught of supernatural threats, from monstrous Youmu to sinister forces lurking within the Spirit World. As they fight for survival, they uncover dark secrets about their own existence and the fragile balance between the human and Youmu realms.
