Synopsis
What I wanted wasn’t anything special. Just enough money to not starve, a warm home so I wouldn’t have to dig through clothing donation bins because of the cold, a caregiver who would treat me kindly – I only wanted the things others enjoy as ordinary.

“What do you mean it doesn’t listen? It’s about to break its head trying to listen to and follow everything you say.”
“Not that.”
The pure white snake opened its mouth and spoke in an alluring voice with its pitch-black tongue.
“I told you I want to see you whimpering.”
