Synopsis

He asked, “Everyone thinks I’m guilty. What about you?”

She replied, “Maybe.”

He smiled. “So, what will you do?”

She said, “I’ll find the evidence—either to clear your name or to catch you. Then, I’ll wait for you.”

He nodded. “Alright, it’s a deal.”

You Ming Xu, a female detective from Jiangrong City, travels deep into western Sichuan to investigate a series of mu*ders. There, she meets Yin Feng, a criminal psychology professor who has been injured and suffers from amnesia. Despite his condition, the two form a detective partnership.

Yin Feng, now with the mindset of his younger, more innocent self, manages to break through the emotional walls You Ming Xu has built after losing her mother at a young age. Throughout the investigation, Yin Feng demonstrates exceptional criminal psychology skills, while You Ming Xu relies on her years of experience and sharp intuition. Together, they repeatedly solve cases, each contributing their strengths.

As they work closely together, the pair grow from strangers to trusted partners, eventually falling in love.

However, when Yin Feng regains his memory, he realizes that his brother may be the one responsible for the mu*der of You Ming Xu’s mother. Determined to uncover the truth behind her death nineteen years ago, they work tirelessly to solve the long-buried mystery, eventually exposing the real culprit.
