How Do Two Emperors Royally Smitten?
两个皇帝怎么谈恋爱
Synopsis
Zhao Mian, the Crown Prince of Nanjing, encountered an ordinary passerby while traveling incognito.
Both of them were afflicted with a strange poison that flares up every full moon night—if they don’t engage in intimacy, they will die together.
The powerful, noble, and handsome Crown Prince looked at the passerby’s plain and unremarkable face, gritting his teeth: “A scholar may be killed, but cannot be humiliated.”
The passerby was baffled: “I have no issue with your pride, but why are you pointing your sword at me?”
Zhao Mian sneered: “I’d rather kill you than humiliate myself.”
The passerby said: “Well… hold on, don’t get worked up. Let me remove my disguise first, and then we can talk.”
Once the disguise was off, the passerby no longer looked ordinary, and Zhao Mian calmed down slightly.
To survive, no matter how reluctantly, the two ended up engaging in intimacy just before the poison flared up—all while cursing at each other.
When Zhao Mian ascended the throne, the neighboring country sent an envoy, Wei Zhenfeng, to offer congratulations.
In the grand hall, Wei Zhenfeng’s eyes sparkled, his demeanor as refreshing as the moon and breeze: “Your Majesty, it’s been a while.”
Zhao Mian touched his slightly bulging abdomen and fell into deep thought.
At the Crown Prince’s full moon banquet, Wei Zhenfeng arrived uninvited, filled with malice, though the corners of his mouth still held a smile: “I only went home for a short while, and you already have a child? This green hat really caught me off guard.”
Zhao Mian said disdainfully: “Everyone in the world belongs to me—how could there be any green hats? Guards, take this ungrateful man from Beiyuan away.”
As the two were locked in a stalemate, an old eunuch suddenly let slip: “Ah, Your Majesty, you are weak after childbirth—you must not get angry!”
